Terms & Conditions

  1. The applicant will have to come for the interview at his/her own cost.
  2. Along with the application, 'the name of the product', 'market price of the product', 'price of the product for Grahak Panchayat Peth' etc. should be filled in the attached Form.
  3. At the time of interview, samples of the products for which the stall is required must be shown along with the necessary information. Items not shown during the interview and not approved by the Panchayat Peth Committee should not be sold in the stall. If such things found, Peth Committee will take appropriate action.
  4. The rates of the products available for sale to the customers at the Panchayat Peth held at different places at Mumbai and outside Mumbai city should be uniform as much as possible. If there is variation in the rates, it is mandatory for the stall holders to inform the Panchayat Peth Committee with a valid reason.
  5. Product to be displayed must have Manufacturer's / Stall Holder's Name and Price Label as prescribed by law.
  6. Our Representatives will visit your place of business at any given time.
  7. Grahak Panchayat Peth does not mean 'exhibition' or 'sale'. But, it's an activity where consumers are promised to get assured and guaranteed goods at reasonable prices. This should be taken into consideration by everyone.
  8. A sample of Invoice Bill printed in 'Triplicate' should be attached along with the application form.
  9. Incomplete information in the application form will not be considered.
  10. Domestic (made in India) products only and strictly should be displayed for sale in our Panchayat Peth Stall. It's forbidden to sell any foreign products similar to 'china made'.
  11. The Panchayat Peth Committee reserves all the rights to invite applicants for interviews and the allocation of stall and the Panchayat Peth Committee is not bound to make any clarification / disclosure in this regard.
  12. If the interested stall holders are selected for Panchayat Peth stall, it is necessary for them to make payment of the stall rent in full by NEFT/RTGS as decided by Mumbai Grahak Panchayat while concluding the contract/agreement with the stall holders.
  13. If any customer wants to replace/return/exchange the product purchased from you, the same shall be accepted by you unconditionally and either replacement/refund shall be given as desired by the consumer, provided, however, the consumer submits appropriate receipt of the purchased product. Of course the period for this will differ according to the products purchased. Your bill should not carry 'Goods once sold will not be taken back'.
  14. If stall holders are GST registrants, they should attach zerox copy of their GST registration no along with the application.
  15. Online forms are available on our website: www.mymgp.org. The form can be downloaded/filled and couriered.
  16. Panchayat Peth chief reserves all the rights to cancel the allotted stall who violates the rules laid by the Panchayat Peth Committee.
  17. It is mandatory to submit the fully completed application form in the prescribed format (in duplicate) to the Sanstha, and the last date for submission of application is 25th April 2026, which please note.

  18. Upon your selection for any Grahak Panchayat Peth, it will be necessary for you to become an Associate Member of Mumbai Grahak Panchayat (MGP) (Annual membership fee Rs. 240/- + Entrance fee Rs. 10/-).
  19. You are also required to pay to MGP a sum of 2% + applicable GST on your sales turnover towards Management charges.
